Bee's Knees Minature Rose

There has been on a bud on my Bee's Knees Minature rose for weeks...... I have been patiently waiting to see a little glimpse of the rose. Yesterday I walked out and there was my glimpse :)! It looks so pretty I can't wait till it fully blooms. I also received this rose from http://www.heirloomroses.com/.

Green Envy Zinnias!!!

My favorite color is green and this is one of my favorite flowers! It is a gorgeous green color. I just wish they were not annuals. I have to rebuy them every year, but I love them so much I do... They seem to be growing great, can't wait for them to bloom.

Money Plant

So here is my money plant that is supposed to look like coins as it blooms. Right now it just looks like a green plant. My luck did start getting better when I started growing this plant.... Is it just coincidence?

Peace lily growing in water

I bought this plant probably close to 7 months ago. I used to have betta and grow these plants in this vase. This time I decided to grow the plant sans the fish. At first the plant did not take off very well, probably because I was not making sure it was always full of water. It is important that all the roots remain covered with water at all times. Since I make it a point to water this plant every other day or so it has regular started to grow. I believe the plant is supposed to do better with filtered or distilled water, but I just use regular tap water and it seems to do fine.

Dwarf Lemon Tree

I am really hoping I do not mess up this plant. It is a dwarf lemon tree. I have never grown a citrus plant before, so it should be interesting... I bought miracle gro potting soil for citrus/cactus trees and I put in the window of my house that gets the most sunlight throughout the day. I will be so excited the first day I can eat a lemon off my own tree! It is also supposed to make your house smell amazing. I wanted to purchase the dwarf lime tree as well, however I thought I would just try this one out first... Wish me luck!

Money Tree, will it bring me money?

I bought some money plant seeds and planted them and all of a sudden my commissions at work starting go up and money started coming in from different places. We thought it must be the money plant, so we bought 32 powerball tickets for my boyfriends birthday. It sounded like a great idea... I mean it was on his birthday and the jackpot was $77 million and he was born in 1977. Well, the money plant did not come through for us, we did not even win $1 out of all 32 tickets. The next weekend I bought this money tree, now lets see if can help us out :)

My rose is now green!!

So my flower aged a few weeks and my Green ice minature rose is now actually green! (This is the same exact flower as the previous picture)

My First Bloom of the 2009 Season

I am so very excited about my first bloom of the season. I bought three minature rose plants from http://www.heirloomroses.com/. My favorite color is green so of course I purchased the Green Ice rose. Well I have my first bloom, it looks pretty white right now however it is supposed to turn greener with time.
